Tyra Young is a results-driven Operations Consultant and Strategic Liaison with over a decade of experience optimizing people, processes, and organizational performance. With a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina and a SHRM-CP certification in Human Resources, Tyra brings a people-centered yet strategic approach to operations, collaboration, and client success.

Tyra’s professional journey began in higher education through residence life and housing operations, where she developed a strong foundation in leadership, administration, and student engagement. She later transitioned into the education technology industry, refining her expertise through roles in client services, project management, operations, and executive support. Across every role, she became known for creating structure in fast-paced environments, solving operational challenges, and strengthening collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

As the founder of Young’s Thriving Legacy, Tyra specializes in facilitating collaboration between organizational leaders and clients while ensuring workflows remain compliant, streamlined, and scalable. Her expertise includes operations management, compliance oversight, transaction coordination, and facilitating effective communication and execution across teams and clients. Through her work, Tyra helps real estate professionals reduce inefficiencies, strengthen business operations, and focus on growth, revenue, and client relationships.

Young’s Thriving Legacy was founded in honor of Tyra’s grandmother, Bessie L. Young, a florist and family matriarch whose entrepreneurial spirit and creativity inspired the floral legacy woven throughout the brand.

Outside of work, Tyra enjoys traveling — with Thailand being her favorite destination — spending time with family and friends, reading, thrift shopping, taking nature walks, and binge-watching culinary competition shows. She is passionate about mentorship, collaboration, and helping others thrive both personally and professionally.
